We
sense immediately that Myers is striking a solemn
chord which is magnified by her amazing eye for
visual qualities that evoke emotional responses yet
are clear statements of fact.
We also realize
the modest remains of her search for testimony are
like minute distillates in a porcelain petri dish
that must be carefully studied to discern their
import.
The remains,
however small, still bear witness and extend their
resonance far beyond the mute objects
themselves. --Van Deren Coke, Photo
